The Importance of Testing for Battery Application in Products with Qualis
Standard is the determination of a measure that must be followed in producing a product. This aims to maintain the quality of the product. In this era of electric vehicles, many battery pack manufacturers are competing to produce and sell them to the public. Of course there is a need for standards related to the performance and safety of the battery.
On February 3, 2022, NBRI visited PT. Qualis Indonesia in Tangerang, Banten, as an independent party in the certification and testing laboratory.
On this occasion, the NBRI Team discussed the standards in battery performance and safety testing and also saw the testing equipment available at PT. Qualis Indonesia. From battery packs to electric vehicles, they are capable of performing tests that comply with international standards. It is hoped that in the future, NBRI can work together in terms of standardization to build a lithium battery ecosystem in Indonesia that is safe, high quality and recognized in International level.
