South Tangerang, January 12, 2022 – As a continuation of last year's APNI Early Year Discussion, the National Battery Research Institute received an honorary visit from PT Samindo Resources Tbk. to find out more about the potential of Nickel as a raw material for Electric Vehicle Batteries. Taking place at the National Battery Research Institute Workshop located in Taman Tekno - South Tangerang, this visit was also a means of exchanging ideas and discussions to integrate the Upstream and Mid-Stream Processes. The agenda was closed with a visit to the Integrated Metallurgy and Battery Testing Facility to review nickel processing and the flow of the battery manufacturing process to become the final product in the form of batteries, power walls, to electric bicycles.
