NBRI Signed MOU With SMM Information Technology Co.,Ltd

On December 10, 2024, the National Battery Research Institute (NBRI) celebrated its 4th anniversary with a landmark signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SMM Information & Technology Co., Ltd. The event, held during the institute's anniversary celebration, featured NBRI's founder, Prof. Evvy Kartini, and SMM’s Country Manager Indonesia, Vincent Liao, representing their respective organizations in this pivotal partnership.

The collaboration between NBRI and SMM aims to accelerate advancements in battery technology, mining innovation, and sustainable energy solutions. By combining NBRI’s renowned research expertise with SMM’s global industry experience, this partnership is poised to deliver groundbreaking developments in metal processing, energy storage solutions, and environmentally sustainable mining practices.

In her remarks at the event, Prof. Evvy Kartini emphasized the significance of this collaboration. “This partnership represents a major milestone in our journey to drive innovation and foster sustainable development in Indonesia’s energy and mining sectors.
