Join Webinar with DEM UGM
On 29 May 2021, the founder of the NBRI Prof. Dr. rer nat Evvy Kartini was invited as one of the speakers in the webinar held by DEM UGM. The event with the theme "Acceleration of Indonesian Electric Vehicles, Are You Ready?". Besides Prof. Evvy, this event also invited experts from Indonesia including Mr. Darmawan Prasodjo, the Deputy President Director of PT. PLN and Mr. Sigit Kartiko Putro who is the xEV Project Leader of PT. Toyota Astra Motor. In this event, the participants, mostly students, academics and industry, were very enthusiastic. The ongoing discussion is also very communicative. In this event Prof. Evvy said that actually Indonesia was very ready and excelled with the acceleration of this EV. However, the lack of information delivery related to Indonesia's readiness and the lack of coordination with related parties makes the general public feel pessimistic about Indonesia's position in EV readiness.
