FGD with Owner of Panasonic Indonesia

On June 17, 2002, the NBRI team visited and held a discussion with Mr. Rachmat Gobel. Mr. Gobel is one of the owners of Panasocil Gobel Group Indonesia. He is also one of the people's representatives in the people's representative council in Indonesia.

In the discussion, Mr. Gobel has had many discussions related to the development of batteries used in addition to electronic devices that can also be used to meet the needs of the Indonesian people for electricity. People in rural areas do not have sufficient electricity supply, so it is necessary to have an energy storage capable of providing the needs of these people.

The biggest challenge is how to synergize between the government and educate the public about this new technology, considering that the level of public education in rural areas is still relatively low.

Many things need to use electricity which can be replaced by batteries. To make this happen, Mr. Gobel gives his support for NBRI and hopes that in the future this can be realized.
