On February 26 th , 2020 The NBRI team went to Bandung with the aim of visiting PT. LEN company. PT Len Industri (Persero)
is currently under the coordination of the Ministry of State Enterprises with 100% ownership by the Government of the
Republic of Indonesia. During this time, Len has developed businesses and products in the electronics sector for industry
and infrastructure. During the visit, it was learned that PT. LEN still imports batteries with a very large amount for industry
needs even though they know that the batteries ordered cannot last long because of the low price. This is done because if
they want to use batteries of the highest quality, the prices of the products they sell will not be able to compete in the
market and result in a lack of incoming orders.
PT LEN has a lot of needs for batteries and unfortunately it has to import raw materials even though if Indonesia can
produce these batteries, it will be very profitable from our economic sector.
