South Tangerang, 13 - 17 March 2023
The development of renewable energy in Indonesia needs numbers of competent and qualified human resources, particularly for supporting Government target to achieve Net Zero Emission 2060. For bolstering those agenda, the Government of Indonesia (through BPSDM Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and Ditjen Vokasi Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology) in collaboration with the Government of Swiss Confederation implementing Renewable Energy Skills Development (RESD) Project.
One of the aims of RESD Project is to launch “Program D4 Spesialisasi 1 Tahun Energi Terbarukan Bidang Solar, Hydro, dan Hybrid” in five piloting polytechnics and one supporting polytechnic on renewable energy in Indonesia. For implementing above program, since 2021 under RESD Project, it has been conducted numerous Training of Trainers (ToT) for polytechnic lecturers, specifically on technical training in the solar power plant (PLTS) and hydroelectric power plant (PLTA).
Training of Trainers: Battery for Renewable Energy 2023 will be attended by 18 lecturers in which specialized on renewable energy course from five piloting polytechnics (PEM AKAMIGAS Cepu, Politeknik Negeri Bali, Politeknik Negeri Jakarta, Politeknik Negeri Manado, Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang) and three supporting polytechnics (Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya, Politeknik Negeri Ambon, Politeknik Manufaktur Bandung).
Lecturers that will be attended this Training of Trainers has been completed various Training of Trainers program, such as ToT Basic Solar in Bandung, ToT Advanced Solar in Bali, ToT Lab Equipment Solar in Manado, and ToT Advanced Practical Solar in Manado. Hence, this event will provide a basic knowledge on battery technology to adopt in renewable energy.
