National Battery Research Institute in collaboration with Queen Mary University London,UK and British Council are pleased to invite you to participate on

“Climate Challenge Workshop”

With theme: “Delivering Battery Revolution:
Reducing The Drivers of Climate Change in Indonesia”

Challenge Prize Total of £30,000

Addressing the challenges of climate change is critical for promoting global sustainable development. Climate Challenge Workshop grants are designed to provide financial support to bring together a UK and Indonesia bilateral cohort of early career researchers to take part in virtual interdisciplinary research workshops. The workshops offer a platform to stimulate and discuss innovative research ideas and encourage sustainable collaborations across disciplines.

“Climate Challenge Prizes”

Research Prizes (RP)
The prizes of with total of £20,000 will be given for 4 excellent research proposals, with the first winner getting prize of £8,000. These challenge research prizes are aimed at enabling ECRs to undertake a piece of original research involving thematic subject.


Dissemination Awards (DA)
The prizes of total £10,000 will be awarded to 5 speakers to present their relevant work at conferences, with a maximum budget of £2,000 per person. ECRs are welcome to submit an abstract to present their research at the workshop.
